Terms of use

Thavel.in is an online marketplace. Travel packages, stays, vehicles and activities are provided by independent, verified operators (“vendors”). Thavel.in facilitates discovery, booking and payment, and issues invoices on the platform’s behalf where stated. The vendor named on each package is responsible for delivering the services booked.

• Provide accurate details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Traveller names must match government ID. Adults are travellers aged 12 and above.
• We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or to breach these terms.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees and are calculated by our servers at the time of booking, including applicable GST and discounts.
• A quote is held for a limited time. If prices or availability change before you pay, we will show you the updated price before taking any money.
• Where offered, you may pay an advance and the balance by the due date shown. Unpaid balances may lead to cancellation under the package’s policy.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Thavel.in never stores your card details.

A booking is confirmed only after the payment is verified by the gateway and, where the package is not instant-confirmation, accepted by the vendor. Inventory is held for a short time while you pay.

You may request changes or cancel from My Trips. Changes are subject to availability and vendor approval; any price difference is shown before you accept. Refunds follow the cancellation tiers shown on the package — see our cancellation & refund policy.

Only travellers with a completed booking can review it. Reviews are moderated; we remove content that is abusive, false or unrelated to the trip.

Vendors are responsible for the services they deliver. Thavel.in is not liable for events beyond reasonable control such as weather, natural disasters, strikes or government restrictions, but our support team will help you rebook or claim refunds where the policy allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kochi, Kerala have jurisdiction. Questions? Write to support@thavel.in.
